Meals on Wheels & Nutrition

The SeniorCare Nutrition Program serves those 60 years of age, and older. Active older adults can join their peers for lunch at one of our community Dining Rooms. Our Home Delivered Meals program (Meals on Wheels) brings a meal right to the door for frail and homebound elders.

Menus are designed by nutrition experts to meet the needs of older adults and are prepared by a professional caterer. Cardiac, chopped, and puréed meals are available, for those with special dietary requirements.

There are no income eligibility requirements that apply to the meals program. However, to help defray the cost of our meals, a voluntary, confidential $2 per meal donation is requested. This suggested $2 donation does not cover the cost of each meal, but helps us provide seniors with an affordable choice.

To find out more about meals or inquire about home delivered meals, contact us at 978-281-1750. To reserve a meal at one of our senior dining rooms, call the Nutrition Site Manager at the Hamilton Senior Center at 978-468-2616.  Reservations should be made by 10:00 A.M. the weekday before you wish to eat.
