Recreation and Leisure
Day trips to museums, restaurants, and events are offered monthly. Classes in the arts including quilting, knitting and painting are also available on a regular basis. Check out our monthly newsletter for most recent offerings.
Information, Referral and Outreach to Elders
Daily, we assist seniors and their family members with their concerns and needs. Lucy Frederiksen will meet with clients and/or caregivers to listen, support, and provide information and referrals. She will also reach out to seniors in the community who are not familiar with Council on Aging services and resources.

Coffee is brewing every morning. Local grocery stores and specialty stores donate pastries and bread, and we offer cold cereal for all to enjoy. Also check out our library, watch the news on our large screen TV!
Exercise programs are offered every day at the Senior Center. Programs include: Arm Chair Yoga, Tai Chi, Parkinson’s Fitness for Balance and Gentle Joints. We have a treadmill along with a recumbent bike as well as a Resistance Chair for weights. Free health seminars and lectures are offered monthly. Health and Wellness Clinics are available two times a month and include: medication counseling, walk-in blood pressure, hearing screening and general wellness check-ups.

Outreach and SHINE Services:
This program helps elders with all their health insurance questions and needs. Call Lucy at 978-468-5595 for an appointment. She is at the Senior Center Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday from 8 to 1.
Attorney Matt Karr donates his time once a month providing FREE 15-minute private appointments to answer questions for seniors. Appointments must be made ahead of time. Check our monthly newsletter for schedules.
A hot lunch, provided by SeniorCare, Inc, is served in our Dining Room year round (except holidays) Monday through Friday at 12:00. Reservations requested at least one day in advance. A donation of $2.00 is suggested.
Meals-on-Wheels are delivered year-round, Monday through Friday, under the auspices of SeniorCare, Inc. for elders who satisfy the evaluation criteria. For information, call SeniorCare, Inc at 1-866-927-1050.
Transportation is available to any Hamilton senior age 60 and older Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:00. Call Beauport 24 hours in advance 978-281-1750. Free for medical appointments; $3.00 round trip for non-medical trips.
