There are three Flu Vaccine Clinic’s sponsored by the Hamilton & Wenham Board of Health scheduled this flu season. Two will be held at the Hamilton Council on Aging Building, 299 Bay Road, on Wednesday, October 4th and Wednesday, November 1st, both from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The third clinic will be held at the Wenham Buker Elementary School, 1 School Street, on Wednesday, November 8th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

There is no charge for the vaccine and clinics are opened to anyone 4 years of age and older. You do not have to be a resident to receive the vaccine.  Those attending are asked to wear short sleeves or loose-fitting sleeves and please bring your insurance card.

NOTE: Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine (LAIV), also known as the “nasal spray” will not be available at these clinics. The Center for Disease and Control’s (CDC) data has shown it has poor or relatively low effectiveness.
