2022 STATE ELECTIONS
STATE PRIMARY – Tuesday, September 6
STATE ELECTION – Tuesday, November 8 (Click here for dates & deadlines)
On Tuesday, Nov 6 there will be a recount of the State Rep race.
There are 3 options for voting in 2022:
1. Vote by Mail – Application (The deadline to submit an application for the State Election was November 1, 5 pm.)
Returning mailed ballots: Mailed ballots can be returned by mail, in person or via the drop box in front of Town Hall. Ballots returned by drop box or in person must be received by 8 pm on November 8. Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before November 8 and received by 5 pm on Saturday, November 12. DO NOT bring mailed ballots to the polling location (Rec Center Gym). NOTE: Mailed ballots received by 6 pm on November 8 will be logged in at the Clerk’s Office and counted at the polls. Mailed ballots received after 6 pm will NOT be sent to the polls and will, instead, be counted on November 14 along with other ballots postmarked by November 12.
2. In-Person Early Voting will be held for 12 days including Saturdays

3. Election Day –
Tuesday, November 8, 2022; HW Recreation Center Gymnasium, 7:00 am – 8:00 pm

POST ELECTION TABULATION SESSION –
On Monday, November 14 at 2:00 we will be counting ballots received on Election Day after Hamilton’s cut off time of 6:00 p.m. and other ballots postmarked by November 8 and received by 5:00 p.m. on November 12. The session will take place in the Memorial Room of Hamilton Town Hall.
