The Town of Hamilton will reduce the hours that Town Hall and other town offices are open for in-person services to residents starting on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Specifically, the decision results from the recent surge in coronavirus cases in Hamilton and Wenham, and across Essex County.

Town employees will remain working full, regular hours. Employees will be able to serve residents via phone or website-based services during working hours. Residents can help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Hamilton by using electronic-based services and only visit Town Hall, the Senior Center, or the Recreation Center when necessary.

Gov. Charlie Baker’s social distancing measures remain in place when you do need to visit town offices. Please remember to wear a face mask, maintain a safe distance of at least six feet or more, and wash and disinfect your hands frequently.

Until further notice, the public hours for Town Hall in-person business will be as follows:

Monday: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Tuesday: 2-6:30 p.m.

Wednesday: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Thursday: 12-4:30 p.m. *Please note that the December 3 election will be held as scheduled from 7 a.m. through 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Wenham Rec Center

Friday: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

For questions or to ask for assistance in receiving services without visiting Town Hall, please call 978-626-5200 or visit the town website at www.hamiltonma.gov.
