The Hamilton Police Department, in coordination with multiple local and regional agencies, will be conducting a full-scale school safety training exercise on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from approximately 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary property.
This is a pre-planned and scheduled training exercise and not a real emergency.
The training will involve police, fire, and emergency medical services personnel and is designed to test and improve coordinated response efforts during a critical incident. These types of exercises are essential to ensuring the safety and preparedness of our schools, first responders, and the wider community.
Residents should expect to see a significant presence of marked and unmarked police, fire, and EMS vehicles in the area surrounding the Seminary during the exercise. A secured perimeter will be established, and unauthorized public access to the immediate area will not be permitted during the training.
