The Patton Homestead would like to host a family friendly event, to bring awareness to the existence of the property as an indoor/outdoor resource for the Town of Hamilton, and to generate support for maintaining the property.
You can sign up for timed tours inside of the Homestead, where you can learn more about tours of the Wenham Museum’s Patton Archive, and Inc.ubate co-working.
There will be:
• Butter UR Biscuit, Honeycomb, Essex County Brewing Company!
• Fire Pit for warming and roasting s’mores
• Nature walk for small groups + children’s crafts
• Bring a sled if there is snow!
The Homestead was the Patton family home for over 90 years. General George S. Patton (WWII), his son General George Smith Patton IV (Korea, Vietnam), and his wife Joanne Holbrook Patton, all called this historic house and property home.
We invite you to share in positive community engagement to benefit the preservation of this historic Town owned property and make the Homestead your new place for gathering, relaxing and for hosting your next special event. Come by to learn more!
