The Town of Hamilton, in partnership with the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA), is offering free rides to Hamilton seniors for the Special Town Meeting on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Miles River Middle School.
To be eligible for a free ride, individuals must be existing CATA clients or complete a client application in advance.
Residents who are not yet CATA clients must:

Call the Hamilton Council on Aging at 978-468-5595, or the CATA office at 978-283-7916 to request an application by mail.

Or download, print, and mail the application along with a copy of ID showing date of birth to:
CATA Office, 3R Pond Road, Gloucester, MA 01930. - Be over 60 years of age, and for adults who have a physical, mental or cognitive disability.
Hamilton residents may also contact the Hamilton Council on Aging (COA) to set up their account new accounts or help with scheduling. The COA can assist with the CATA registration process and forward the necessary information to CATA.
Once a resident is registered as a CATA client, the ride should be scheduled no later than 12 P.M. on Thursday, June 5 by calling CATA Dispatch at 978-283-7916. Dial-a-Ride and ADA Services with CATA are door-to door-services.
