Finance and Advisory Committee
About
The Finance and Advisory Committee (FinCom) is an essential part of Town government. Formed under the statutory requirements of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 39, Section 16, the committee is charged with considering and making reports and recommendations to the Town on any or all municipal questions. The committee is part of the legislative branch of Town government, and also makes recommendations on all warrant articles presented to Town Meeting for consideration. The Town Moderator appoints 3 positions to this committee and the Select Board appoints two positions.
The Finance and Advisory Committee usually meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
