Drainage and Paving Improvements: Bridge Street – Bay Road to Miles River Road, and Miles River Road – Bridge Street to Essex Street
Newport Construction has been hired by the Town of Hamilton to perform drainage and pavement repairs to the above streets in Hamilton.
Weather permitting the schedule will be as follows: Drainage and paving activities are planned to begin along Miles River Road starting the week of July 13th, 2026. This work is planned to be completed within a few months. The contractor will then proceed with the work on Bridge Street. Each work location is estimated to be completed in approximately 2 months. Schedules are estimates and subject to weather delays.
There will be required detours and possibly road closures needed to complete this work. Traffic questions should be directed to the Hamilton Police Department at 978-468-1212.Roadways will remain open to emergency vehicles, trash service, school buses, postal vehicles, and abutters, however we do ask residents to plan accordingly, utilizing alternate routes, to reduce resident traffic to help expedite the repairs.
