In August 2018, the Hamilton Recycling-Committee was given permission to change its name to the Hamilton Waste Reduction Committee.

Although recycling is extremely important, we realized that our mission entails much more. We oversee everything related to waste, including:

• Trash Disposal (soon to come)
• Organic Waste Program
• Recycling
• and to a lesser degree, Yard Waste management
