As the birthplace of the American Revolution, Massachusetts holds a special place in our nation’s history. As part of this proud legacy, the Town of Hamilton honors the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776—a moment that marked the beginning of a free and independent nation.
In observance of Independence Day, Town of Hamilton offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025.
Please note:
Friday’s trash collection will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
Normal operations will resume on Monday, July 7 at 8 A.M.
Residents visiting Town Hall are advised to check individual department updates, as some departments may adjust their hours over the holiday.
